Our Team

President

Steve is a retired educator after 31 years as a teacher and principal in Des Moines and Urbandale and as a supervisor of instruction at Simpson College. 

He also has over 15 years experience in insurance and financial services.

Steve holds Medicare's National AHIP Certification and helps clients understand all their Medicare options so they can choose the plan that will be best for them. 

Steve enjoys 

raising backyard chickens, 

riding the bike trails, and 

making homemade soaps.

Esther is a retired educator 

after 44 years of teaching 

in Urbandale where she 

was named  

"Teacher of the Year" 

in 2015. 

Esther keeps busy 

volunteering at 

Terrace Hill and

Plymouth Church 

along with working part-time 

at the Des Moines Civic Center and Metro Opera. 

Esther enjoys 

gardening, traveling, 

making very healthy salads, and spending time with our 

three granddaughters and 

our Labradoodle, "Sadie".
