President

Steve Burgett is a retired educator after 32 years as a teacher and principal in 

Des Moines, Urbandale, 

and Johnston 

and supervisor of instruction 

at Simpson College. 

Steve has over 20 years experience in insurance and financial services.  He has Medicare's National AHIP Certification and helps clients with their Medicare, insurance, and retirement decisions. 

Steve enjoys riding the 

bike trails of central Iowa 

and making natural 

homemade soaps.

Esther Burgett is a retired educator after 44 years of teaching in Urbandale 

where she was named 

"Teacher of the Year".

Esther volunteers at 

Terrace Hill, Plymouth Church, and the Des Moines Women's Club, along with working at the Des Moines Civic Center, the Temple for Performing Arts, and the Metropolitan Opera. 

Esther enjoys gardening, traveling, making very healthy salads, and spending time with our three granddaughters and 

our Labradoodle "Sadie".
